Walford Park and Recreation Minutes

Regular Meeting                                                                                                           Tuesday December 7th, 2021

Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m. Lane, Hebert, Davis, and Miner present. Primmer absent.

Motion by Lane to approve the November 2021 minutes with edit to those present noted. Seconded by Miner. Approved unanimous. Correction included Primmer present.

Basketball court action - proceeding with efforts to secure multiple bids.

Motion by Hebert to approve up to $600 for purchase of a Dogipot for installation at Knapp Creek Park. Seconded by Miner. Approved unanimous.

General equipment grounds/maintenance

Batting cage has been re-installed.

Fill dirt is urgently needed around concrete slab of the pickle ball court.

Consider pole replacement at volleyball court.

Citizen comments:

Jess Painter present to discuss the idea of a Walford Fun Day(s).  A group has self-organized to investigate ideas spanning Friday evening and Saturday of weekend of Fireworks. Discussion included several potential ideas and potential funding support options.

Motion to adjourn by Miner, seconded by Lane. Meeting adjourned at 7:53 pm.
