Walford Park and Recreation Minutes

Regular Meeting                                                                                                             Tuesday January 5, 2021

Meeting called to order at 7:04 pm.  Lane, Gann, Miner present.  Primmer and Davis absent.

Motion to approve December 2020 minutes by Miner, seconded by Gann.  Approved unanimous.

Election of officers tabled until February meeting on account of not enough board members present to vote.

Discussion regarding vacancy for president of Prairie Youth League.  If no volunteer to lead the organization is found the 2021 season will be cancelled.  Decision date for season cancellation unknown.  February 2nd coaches meeting to be attended by member of Parks Board.

Equipment/Grounds/Maintenance - noted ball diamond gates are locked for winter

Discussion included seeking additional concrete quotes to establish potential cost of replacement of basketball court.

Motion to adjourn by Miner.  Seconded by Lane.  Meeting adjourned 8:26 pm.
