Walford Park and Recreation MinutesRegular meeting                                                                                                                    February 6, 2018Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., by Chairperson Amy Ellis.Roll Call: Gann, Ellis, Meyers, Miner were present. Reed was absent.Gann moved approval of the January 2, 2018 minutes as posted, seconded by Meyers.Roll Call: Unanimous.Board held discussion with coaches regarding the following baseball subjects:Uniforms, practice equipment, helmets, catchers gear, baseballs, and PYBL meeting dates and times.Discussion regarding pitching machine, quote to be procured by board.Gann moved approval of $4,000 to execute quote for repair labor to replace shingles on dugouts and ball park buildings, seconded by Ellis. Roll Call: Unanimous.Gann moved to approve Firehouse Pyrotechnics invoice of $6,500 for fireworks display to be held June 9, 2018, seconded Meyers.
