Walford Park and Recreation MinutesRegular Meeting                                                                                                                             May 3, 2016Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m., by Chairperson Amy Ellis.Roll Call: Gann, Ellis, and Meyers. Miner was absent. One vacancy.Gann moved approval of the minutes from April 5, 2016, seconded by Ellis. Roll Call: Unanimous.Meyer moved approval of $250.00 donation to Central State Bank for the Easter Program, seconded by Gann. Roll Call: Unanimous.Krista Barnell, Tim Yoder and Mike Chaney were present to discuss “End of Summer Party”.It was agreed to move fireworks to coincide with the “End of Summer Party”“End of Summer Party” scheduled for Saturday August 13, at the baseball diamonds. Further details coming soon.Discussion was held regarding the following baseball topics: Full teams with Coaches, practice has started, equipment, hats, jerseys and t-shirt have been issued.Discussion was held on the purchase of a second L screen. Board deemed unnecessary.Meyers moved approval of $130.00 for replacement of L screen net, seconded by Ellis.
