Special Meeting                                                                                                                Tuesday October 6th, 2020

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m., by Mayor Bill Voss.

Roll Call: Bauer, Carter, Greiner, Pottebaum, Voss.

Bauer moved approval of the agenda as posted, seconded Pottebaum. Roll Call: Aye: Bauer, Carter, Greiner, Pottebaum. No: Voss.

Several residents were on hand to voice concerns and ask questions about the termination of Snyder Associates.

Residents were also present to voice concerns with the process and award of community center roof replacement. 

Mayor Voss reported severing relationship with Snyder & Associates had been voted on already and failed, agreement made by Resolution and cost already paid for wastewater treatment project.

Bauer moved to sever/terminate contract with Snyder & Associates, seconded by Carter. Roll Call: Aye: Bauer, Carter, Pottebaum. No: Greiner and Voss. Motion Carried.

Discussion was held regarding request for Proposals (RFP) for Engineer Services.

Discussion was held regarding Community Center Roof Proposals.

Discussion was held regarding the process of pursuing and receiving estimates/bids and or proposals that do not fall under the State Bidding thresholds.

Greiner moved approval of the draft request for proposal with the addition if contractor bids outside of the scope, bid will not be accepted. Dies lack of second. Council will review and make additional changes.

Mayor Voss removed Jeff Pottebaum as Mayor Pro-Tem and appointed Matt Greiner.

Pottebaum moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:07 p.m., seconded by Voss. Roll Call: Unanimous.
